Efacec on a forefront of technical developments for smart grids
Efacec, EDP and Silver Spring Networks have started a new smart grid pilot-project designated as the Batalha project. The first Portuguese Smart Grids project – InovGrid – was started in 2007, in Évora city. The experience and knowledge gained with this project has allowed the application in the similar initiatives in other Portuguese cities.

Efacec is the preferred technology provider for Bahrain
By achieving an important technological milestone, the Electricity and Water Authority - a utility from Bahrain dedicated to the generation, transport and distribution of electricity and water - has just completed the commissioning of the final substation from a set of 50, all of them equipped with Efacec-made integrated automation, protection and control systems.

Efacec Automation, in close cooperation with other Efacec business units, successfully concluded installation of the first set of seven automation systems for the Venezuelan CORPOELEC, company responsible for energy supply in the country.
