Efacec Automation is supplying Central Europe with Substation Automation Systems
Efacec Automation consolidates its position as a key player at the Central Europe market. Recently the company has won two new contracts in Romania and Armenia for the supply of substation automation systems, based on the CLP 500SAS platform.

Efacec Automation selected to deliver automation solutions for Tanzania
Efacec Automation strengths its position as a reliable supplier in Tanzania. Further to the contract successfully implemented for Tanesco (Tanzania Electric Supply Company) in Hale region, the New Pangani Falls Hydro Power Plant (2x34MW) automation and control system replacement concluded in 2012, Efacec was recently awarded with two new contracts for the supply, configuration and commissioning of automation systems that will be installed at TANESCO.

Recently, Automation business unit of Efacec do Brasil received a set of important orders in the scope of energy automation systems, from which we highlight the following projects for: EDP ENERGEST, Companhia Energética de Alagoas (CEAL), Pinwheels Paracaru (ENPECEL), COELCE.

Deliveries and project implementations

Efacec Automation delivers automation systems for Angolan ENE
Efacec Automation has successfully concluded implementation of two automation systems, featuring protection and control for ENE, Angolan national company for electricity. Those installations were performed at 220/60 kV Belém do Dango and 220/60/30/15 kV Kuito substations.

Technical Exhibition of 2014 CIGRÉ Session - Paris, France

Efacec will be present at the Technical Exhibition of 2014 CIGRÉ Session (International Council on Large Electric Systems) that will be organized in Paris, France on August 25-29.

SoES Final Workshop
In the scope of its R&D activity, Efacec Automation will participate in the final workshop of SoES – Security of Energy Systems project that will be held in Milan, Italy, on July 17, at the RSE (Ricerca Sistema Energetico) facilities.

Monitor BT at 2014 CIRED Workshop
In the scope of activity developed in the process of the Monitor BT project, Efacec Automation was present at the CIRED Workshop, held in Rome, Italy, between 11 and 12 of June. This year edition was dedicated to Challenges of Implementing Active Distribution System Management.
