Efacec Automation selected to provide the SCADA system and RTUs for the project of KVMRT
Efacec Automation has received an important order for the KVMRT project in Malaysia, for the supply of the SCADA system and remote units (RTUs) for the electrical energy distribution in the rail-based transport network, being constructed in the metropolitan region of the capital Kuala Lumpur, also known as Klang Valley.

Deliveries and project implementations
Substation automation system for Valpaços substation of REN – the Portuguese TSO
The Portuguese transmission system operator REN continues to trust on Efacec Automation products and solutions, reliance that results in new projects and remodeling of existing ones. Last February 2013, a new reference was added to the Efacec Automation portfolio, being successfully concluded the installation of automation system featuring protection and control in the Valpaços transmission substation (220/60 kV).

Efacec ACS will be a participating sponsor at the 3rd annual Distribution Automation & Grid Modernization Business Case Summit to be held at The Blake Hotel in Charlotte, NC.

 

IEC 61850 Europe
Efacec will be present at the conference and workshop "IEC 61850 Europe" promoted by Phoenix Forums that embrace matters of IEC 61850 implementations. The event will be held in the capital of Czech Republic, Prague, between 22nd and 24th of May.

 

CIRED 2013
Efacec will be present at the 22nd International Conference and Exhibition on Electrical Distribution that will take place June 10-13 in Stockholm - Sweden, at the Kistamässan in Kista.

New R&D projects

Efacec Automation is pleased to announce a new project in the R&D field.
