The solution for this mobile substation is based on Efacec substation automation technology. At the control level, the substation will integrate a high-availability embedded hardware platform UC 500H, featuring hot swappable power supplies and redundant CPUs, web user interface HMI 500, and bay control units from Series 500. At the MV cells, a set of protection relays from the new Series 430 will be installed. IEC 61850 standard and GOOSE protocol will be used for protection, control and acquisition devices, in order to improve the system robustness, reliability and performance.
