Efacec, as a trusted supplier of substations automation solutions, was selected to deliver the CLP 500SAS automation platform for a completely new system for Alcochete substation (400/60 kV), situated at the centre of Portugal.

The scope of this supply comprises the system based on CLP 500SAS platform, technology fully developed by Efacec. This platform integrates digital IEDs BCU 500 for bays control and management, UC 500 as station server and communication gateway, user interface HMI 500, TPU 420 for transformer voltage control, and protection relays from third parties.

With this project REN confirms, ones again, preference in Efacec services, showing recognition and confidence placed in our substation automation products and solutions.
