The Portuguese TSO has awarded Efacec with a three-year contract for technical assistance services. This contract concerns automation systems featuring protection and control of 26 transmission substations spread throughout the national territory.

Efacec Automation engineers will provide preventive and corrective/adaptive maintenance services for all equipment, systems and software installed in those substations.

This maintenance contract for transmission substations in Portugal once again confirms REN’s preference in Efacec services, recognising Efacec Automation’s products, solutions and engineering skills. Both companies have a long-standing business relationship. Over the last 30 years of activity, Efacec Automation provided more than 50 automation systems for REN transmission substations.
