Efacec Automation has successfully concluded implementation of automation and control solution for 30 kV mobile substation for OCP (Office Chérifien des Phosphates) in Morocco. This mobile substation is also Efacec’s scope of supply, particularly of the mobile substations at the transformers division.

This project included supply, configuration and commissioning of a complete SAS system based on CLP 500SAS that integrates Efacec automation products, such as station servers UC 500E, bay control units BCU 500, as well as protection relays from Series 420. Communications at the field level are carried over IEC 61850 standard. The supply is further ready for communications with the remote SCADA through IEC 60870-5-101 protocol.

CLP 500SAS platform is an integrated solution for transmission, distribution and industrial applications. It enables multiple field-proven system architectures regarding protection and control integration, multi-vendor integration, communication network architectures, use of hardwired or GOOSE logic and redundancy options, together with standard function implementations and database, HMI or cabinet designs.
