Efacec Automation was selected for the supply of several telecontrol systems for primary distribution substations, based on CLP 500RTU platform. RTUs will be deployed in seven substations: Santa Luzia, Fundão, Guarda, Relvinha, Aveiro, and Gafanha (60/15 kV), and Casal da Eira (60/30-15 kV). Field-proven worldwide, CLP 500RTU is a flexible and scalable distributed remote terminal unit and programmable automation system featuring multiple communication and I/O options, as well as integrated HMI and unified engineering and handling.

The proposed solutions will integrate Efacec products, namely central processing module UC 500 and data acquisition and control units from Series 500.
