The e-balance (balancing energy production and consumption in energy efficient smart neighborhoods) is a R&D project that aims to explore and develop holistic and flexible solutions to improve the energy efficiency of present and future communities, in the scope of the smart cities, having in mind technical and behavior criteria, in order to balance the energy generation and consumption.
This project is led by German IHP GmbH – Innovations for High Performance Microelectronics, in cooperation with several European industry entities, research and technology institutions (namely from Germany, Holland, Poland, Portugal and Spain). It’s funded by FP7, was started October 2013 and will take 42 months. |
