Efacec Automation implements automation systems at the transportation segment

The transportation segment is an important business activity for Efacec Automation. Metros and railways require specific solutions for an optimized management of the railway system. Recently, Efacec Automation concluded a set of installations comprising automation systems for traction substations and technical supervision for infrastructure, at both national and international level.

Efacec Automation provided a railway system operator in Portugal - REFER, with the telecontrol system for four traction substations, two of which are situated at the Cascais Line (Cais do Sodré and Cruz Quebrada traction substations) and other two at the Beira Baixa line (Abrantes and Alferrarede traction substations).

Efacec Automation has further concluded site acceptance test for the Dundrum traction substation at the Dublin light metro Green line, in Ireland.
