Efacec Automation was selected by the Portuguese DSO EDP as one of the semi-finalists in the 2014 edition of EDPartners awards, an initiative that promotes company’s relations with the suppliers. We are competing in innovation category with the view4grid – an engineering tool for configuration and commissioning of smart automation controllers from Efacec (G Smart), and smart meters (M Box), whenever concentrated on the G Smart.

Partial view of the interface

The view4grid is a software application that performs a set of operations like data extraction, setting definition and action execution over smart controllers that are compatible with the option models of the software. By use of the web applications, it can be visualized in any web browser on computer or smartphone application, at any time and place.
With one tool, it is possible to select several configuration settings and deploy over a number of controllers, achieving results according to the desired final status, and providing an efficient and optimized system operation.
