Another installation in Latin America was concluded for the transmission operator in Paraguay, with the commissioning of 220 kV K30 substation for ANDE. The system included BCU 500 bay control units, Series 420 protection relays for voltage regulation, and protection relays from third parties.

This substation represents a crucial point of connection in the transmission grid in Paraguay, as it aggregates energy production in the eastern part of the country, especially between Itaipu and Acaray, and transmission for Assuncion district and the rest of the country.
