Efacec Automation has successfully concluded installation at two 220/60 kV substations in Peru. The scope of the supply included integrated control and automations systems based on Efacec CLP 500 platform, the solution that corresponds to a flexible and scalable programmable automation system featuring multiple communication, I/O options, integrated user interface, unified engineering and handling.

The scope of supply for Mirador and Carabayllo substations included a complete control and automations system, integrating embedded stations servers (UC 500E), digital control units BCU 500 for bay control, and integration of protections relays from third parties. The communication and integration in the system of relays from third parties is implemented over IEC 61850 standard.

Efacec Automation is satisfied with a sign of Edelnor’s long-term trust towards its automations solutions and engineering skills. Efacec concluded implementation of the first system in Peru in 2008 at the Chillón substation.
