Efacec Automation in the scope of protection and telecontrol systems for primary distribution substations, implemented SAS systems in several DSO substations.

The installations of solutions based on CLP 500SAS platform were performed in Arroja, Mercado, Vale Serrão and Reboleira substations. This field-proven platform enables architectures for protection and control with multi-vendor integration, advanced communication networks, use of hardwired or GOOSE logic, as well as integrated HMI and unified engineering.

The present solutions integrate Efacec products, namely central processing module UC 500, control units from Series 500, as well as terminal protection units from the 420 series.
