Automation Studio 3.0 is now available
Efacec presents the latest version of its Automation Studio toolset. Automation Studio 3.0 including several new features and an improved user interface layout.

With this release, three different editions are made available, targeting different users:

From the new features the new diagram-integrated topology editor and enhanced support for IEC 61850 including Ed.2 are highlighted. The topology editor enables the definition of topological-aware functions in a straightforward way supporting full reuse of compounded symbols (equipment, feeders, bays…).
A major renew of the toolset vendor-neutral IEC 61850 features is included in the first release of version 3, allowing support for both Edition 1 and Edition 2 engineering workflows, as defined in the standard. A set of new editors, including a system data flow editor, support for client and/or server IEDs, automated data sets and enhanced SCL logical node model designers are examples of the new improved support for IEC 61850.
