Efacec ACS was chosen by the City of Anaheim, CA to deliver advanced Distribution Management System (DMS) functionality with the existing PRISM™ SCADA/OMS in place at the utility.

An Efacec ACS customer since 1997, the City of Anaheim has steadily grown its system from basic SCADA – adding multiple Substation Automation systems and then becoming the first PRISM OMS customer in 2007.

This integrated, real-time solution from Efacec ACS will add advanced distribution management applications to the existing system, utilizing a common model and source database for SCADA, DMS and OMS.

This approach means streamlined operations and improved performance over separate system platforms. Anaheim Public Utilities delivers essential electricity to the 345,000 residents and 15,000+ businesses.
