Efacec Automation, as a trusted supplier of substations automation solutions, was selected to deliver more than 40 remote terminal units (RTUs) to be installed at three transmission substations and at several power plants, including hydro power plants.

The turnkey systems to be supplied include configuration, installation supervision and maintenance of RTUs. At the power plants the IEDs from Series 500 will be provided, the DCU 500H – an advanced automation controllers. And for the transmission substations, the UC 500H will be implemented, a high-availability station server solution.
