This December, Efacec Automation has put into operation the SCADA system for the control center of the Angolan electricity distribution public company (EDEL). This new control center equips EDEL with modern, technologically advanced supervision and control infrastructure for Luanda region.

The first phase of the contract comprised the SCADA system for EDEL’s control center, as well as integration of three substations, already operating. In the future, all existing and new substations shall be gradually integrated in the SCADA system.

Efacec Automation is implementing the most recent technological solutions endowing its customers with capacity to provide a better quality service to its clients.

Demonstrating EDEL’s vote of reliance in our products and solutions this project has already paved the way for new contracts for supply of new automation systems. Recent substations are: Encib Camama and Cacuaco Sequele, both of 60/15 kV.
